### The stop and the score

According to ESPN's game data, Texas answered Durkin's field goal by driving to its own 48\. Lagonza Hayward and Ben Hanks III then sacked Arch Manning on third-and-1, and on fourth-and-2, Brendan Bett dropped Manning for a 3-yard loss. Texas turned it over on downs at its own 45 with 8:34 left.

Florida needed six plays and 2:08 to go 45 yards. Baugh broke a 13-yard run, London Montgomery added 9 and 3, and Tramell Jones Jr. ran 9 yards to the Texas 11\. Baugh went the last 11 on the next play.

### Durkin's go-ahead kick

Durkin's 28-yarder at 10:40 of the fourth quarter made it 20-17 and capped a 14-play, 57-yard drive that took 6:31, per ESPN's game data ([@GatorsFB](https://x.com/GatorsFB/status/2111528851511865519?ref=gatorstandard.com)). Zach Abolverdi of Gators Online [noted](https://x.com/ZachAbolverdi/status/2111528951600283811?ref=gatorstandard.com) that Florida had converted seven straight third downs before the drive stalled at the Texas 10.

### A defense that won't break

Florida's defense forced punts on five of Texas's last six drives, including three straight three-and-outs, [per Abolverdi](https://x.com/ZachAbolverdi/status/2111525298940375328?ref=gatorstandard.com). Then it got the fourth-down stop. As of 3:00 PM ET, ESPN's game data has Manning 11 of 15 for 92 yards with no touchdowns, and Texas with 204 total yards to Florida's 311.

Jones, in his first career start, is 22 of 34 for 155 yards with two touchdown passes and no interceptions. Baugh has 88 yards on 22 carries.
