Saturday's Florida-Texas game has a side bet, and it's a sweet one.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott got together Friday night at the Texas Governor's Mansion in Austin for what Abbott called a Texas-Florida Tailgate, and the two bet key lime pie against Blue Bell ice cream on the game, according to Jeremy Wallace of the Houston Chronicle.

DeSantis also got a laugh with his timing. He joked that he made plans to come to Texas back when the Gators were 4-0 and looking like a powerhouse, Wallace reported. Florida comes into Austin at 4-2.

Key lime pie is the official pie of Florida. Blue Bell, made in Brenham, Texas, is a Lone Star State staple.
