Five-star wide receiver Easton Royal, who flipped his commitment from Texas to Florida on Oct. 11, didn't wait long to weigh in on Saturday's result in Austin.
At 3:22 PM ET, right after Florida's 27-24 win over No. 7 Texas, Royal posted "๐๐๐ go gators ๐๐๐" with a photo of himself in a Florida No. 3 jersey doing the Gator chomp.
As of 5:37 PM ET, the post had 227,451 views, 7,242 likes, 1,029 reposts, 227 replies and 118 quotes. Gators Online's Blake Alderman shared it with a simple caption: "New Gators commit who flipped from Texas."
Royal, a 2027 receiver from Brother Martin in New Orleans, also told On3's Tyler Harden after the game that "Coach Sumrall is going to continue to be a winner at Florida" (our story). After the flip, Florida's 2027 class rose to No. 4 in ESPN's class rankings (our story).
