Florida LB commit Ellis McGaskin named to Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic
The four-star Williamson linebacker will play for Alabama on Dec. 12 in his hometown of Mobile.

Florida linebacker commit Ellis McGaskin has been named to Alabama's roster for the 2026 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic, Andrew Spivey of Gator Country reported Friday afternoon. McGaskin also appears on the full Alabama roster published by the AHSAA, and AL.com listed him among the defensive standouts. As of Friday evening, neither UF nor McGaskin had commented publicly.
The game is set for noon CT on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the University of South Alabama campus in Mobile. That's McGaskin's hometown. Alabama leads the all-time series 28-11 and has won six straight.
About McGaskin
McGaskin is a four-star 2027 linebacker from Williamson High School in Mobile. He committed to Florida on June 6, picking the Gators over LSU and Florida State shortly after his official visit to Gainesville. He had previously been committed to Notre Dame. At the time of his commitment, 247Sports' composite ranked him No. 353 overall and No. 28 among linebackers.
As a junior, McGaskin made 160 tackles and was a first-team Class 5A All-State pick, per AL.com. Helena's Richie Busby will coach the Alabama team.
