Florida head coach Jon Sumrall spent Thursday night in the New Orleans area, on-site at Brother Martin vs. Curtis to watch five-star wide receiver commit Easton Royal.

It was Royal's first high school game since he flipped his commitment from Texas to Florida on Oct. 11.

Sam Spiegelman of RivalsHS (@samspiegs) posted a photo of Sumrall at the game around 8:28 p.m. ET, standing alongside Tulane head coach Will Hall. On3's Corey Bender reposted it.

James Wyrtzen (@jawyrtze) also noted Sumrall was in attendance to watch Royal.

The in-person visit is a clear signal of how the Gators' staff views keeping Royal in the fold after the flip. Follow the program at floridagators.com.
