The drive
According to ESPN's game data, Texas went 75 yards in six plays and 2:01. Florida's L.J. McCray sacked Manning for a 6-yard loss on the first play, and the Longhorns faced fourth-and-6 at their own 33. Manning then found Emmett Mosley V deep down the left side for 62 yards to the Florida 9. Jeramiah McCloud broke up a pass on first down, and Manning hit Coleman over the middle on the next snap. Zach Abolverdi of Gators Online called it "a big play and a TD pass" that cut the deficit to 3.
What Florida needs
Texas trails by a field goal with just over four minutes left, so a kickoff and a defensive stand are both on the table. For Florida, the job is simple and hard: move the chains and drain the clock. Jadan Baugh and the run game produced the 27-17 lead, and first downs would force Texas to burn its timeouts.
ESPN's game data now has Manning 14 of 20 for 173 yards and a touchdown. Florida leads 311-279 in total yards. (Earlier: Baugh Scores, Gators Lead No. 7 Texas 27-17 in the Fourth.)
