Philo, Brown III and Stockton all game-time decisions at Texas
ESPN's Pete Thamel reports QB Aaron Philo and WRs Vernell Brown III and Bailey Stockton are game-time decisions at No. 7 Texas. Tramell Jones Jr. starts if Philo can't go.

Three Florida offensive starters will be game-time decisions Saturday at No. 7 Texas, ESPN's Pete Thamel reported Thursday evening, citing sources.
According to Thamel's report, posted on X around 5:07 p.m. ET, quarterback Aaron Philo and wide receivers Vernell Brown III and Bailey Stockton are all game-time decisions. Philo will travel to Austin, and whether he plays will be decided during pregame warm-ups. If Philo can't go, Tramell Jones Jr. will start. (Thamel on X)

What's new
Earlier Thursday, On3's Pete Nakos reported that Philo threw at practice and was likely a game-time decision while working through a shoulder injury. GatorStandard covered that report here. Thamel's report goes further by adding Brown and Stockton to the list and saying the Philo call will come in pregame warm-ups.
Florida has not officially announced any change. The status for all three players comes from Thamel's sources, not from a UF statement.
Why it matters
A Florida team at 4-2 could be without its starting quarterback and two of its receivers in one of the toughest road games on its schedule. If Philo sits, Jones would make his first career start in Austin.
GatorStandard will update as pregame status becomes clear Saturday.
